Hiring a bike is simple - first you must download and register on the Beryl Cycle Hire app.
To unlock a bike you need to click the ‘Unlock Bike’ button which will direct you to scan your phone over the touchpad between the handlebars on the bike to unlock it.
Once unlocked, you can pull the bike out of the docking point to start your ride.
If you decide to not unlock the bike you can press cancel and the app will direct you back to the home page.

1. Unlock with bike ID
If your NFC (contactless) unlocking is not working, you can unlock a bike with the bike ID (which is written on the bike's touchpad). Key the bike ID into your app.
